Be sure to scroll down to see the complete list of alphabetic subject categories. These are broad subject categories in which you may want to look for information. In general, we highly recommend the resources listed in Top General Consumer Health Web Sites as a starting point. In particular, we especially recommend Medline Plus ( from the National Library of Medicine) as one of the first web resources to search for authoritative health information. Medline Plus is also available in Spanish, Medline Plus Espanol.
We also provide access to many databases and research resources which you can use while you are here at St. Joseph Hospital. Those resources with the padlock symbol can only be used while on campus here at St. Joseph Hospital. Additionally, Burlew Medical Library may be able to assist you with even more indepth research.
Some resources in Spanish and other languages are listed in these subject sections. A more comprehensive list of www resources in other languages is listed in our section Espanol and Multi Lingual Links.
